BEI Associates, Inc. is currently partnered with Diamond and Schmitt Architects to provide architectural and engineering services for a new two-story 55,000 square foot library for the City of Novi.  The new library will replace the existing library, which will be demolished to make room for a new parking lot. 

The new library is strategically located on the Novi Civil Center Campus with good visibility from 10 Mile Road.

The new library includes a book drop-off, a fireplace and landscaping, including bio-swales as part of the storm water management plant.  It also includes an outdoor patio with views of the adjacent city-owned Fuerst Farm Park and space for a collection of over 180,000 volumes.  

Among the many amenities, the new library will include a 200-seat meeting room, 104 computer stations, additional space for patrons, staff and collections, a teen area, Friends of the Novi Public Library used book store and a cafe.
