BEI provided engineering services, for the Detroit Zoological Institute for Dinosauria III, a 30-seat, electric simulator adventure and story theater.
BEI's responsibilities included structural design and engineering for the massive concrete base that supports the simulator, the building foundation and structural steel frame to support the foam outer shell. BEI also provided electrical and mechanical engineering services.
BEI worked with Simex/Moog, of Toronto, Ontario and the Detroit Zoological Institute to certify simulator ride and aide the client to secure a ride permit from the state of Michigan Amusement Ride Inspection Department.
